'When memories are lost' was the title of the Charity Switzerland Phone Numbers 6 Million List Gala that was held on Saturday, April 14, in Villanueva de la Jara, with a play adapted from the script of the film 'Arrugas' in which more More than 100 Jareños have participated to raise funds for the Association of Relatives and Patients with Alzheimer's and other dementias in Cuenca.

More than 2,000 euros were raised thanks to the script that Adela Cuartero has adapted, who says that “the play takes place in a nursing home where things happen that are told through musicals, operas, imitations of Lina Morgan, José Luis Pear trees, magic and much more.” A work that aims to convey the feelings that an Alzheimer's patient provokes to the people around him.





Joy, sadness, crying, laughter, tenderness, understanding... These are some of the feelings that Adela Cuartero talks about, who in addition to being the one who adapted the work, is also the organizer of the event. “These are the feelings that the family member of a person with dementia or Alzheimer's goes through, and we wanted the audience to also feel them during the play,” says Cuartero.
